Piano Sonata in A Major Piano

Piano A favorite Mozart Sonata undergoes a new appreciation, with the 2014 discovery of four missing leaves of the autograph in a library in Budapest. These pages fill in a good deal of information as to Mozart's original intentions, which will introduce new sounds to our accustomed ears. The opening variations and central Menuetto undergo revisions (corrections), although the first and last pages are still missing (including much of the beloved Alla Turca). The new edition includes critical notes and descriptions of the sources, and layout is designed to facilitate performance.
