Fantasie Russe No. 2 for viola and piano

Viola, Piano Portnoff's Russian Fantasia has long been a favored recital and audition piece for young violinists. Accomplished violist Arielle Gill has undertaken production of a fully annotated practical edition to introduce the Portnoff to aspiring violists. The piano score includes two parts - a standard transcription for viola and the annotated version with a discussion of phrasing and bowing techniques.
