A String of Thoughts for flute and piano

Flute, Piano A wonderful performance piece constructed around a constant pulsating A. Dehnhard, author of The New Flute (Universal Edition UE035320), casts his flute part in eerie, ethereal forms, using wind, singing, and open hole glissandi. Throughout the piano part, an A note appears in constant tempo, and scratching and dampening strings are used for effect.
