This intermediate level solo by W. T. Skye Garcia is perfect for developing lyrical playing and voicing two-note lines in the right hand. Students will need to listen carefully to the melodic line to make sure that it projects, as it is sometimes the lower of the two right-hand notes. The left-hand accompaniment in this F major solo is both rhythmically and harmonically simple to aid in learning the right hand. Using the damper pedal creates a lush and romantic sound.
