Serendipity

This work was commissioned by Music Teachers National Association to feature and promote collaborative music. It was premiered at the MTNA Conference on March 10, 2013, Anaheim, California. The trio is scored for flute, horn and piano and composed with the intermediate-level student in mind. The driving spirit of the pianistic ostinato combines with overlapping motives in the flute and horn to create a modern musical texture and landscape.
